Admissions of S5 learners

Applicants for S5 must complete their applications using the official forms issued by the Ministry of Education, which are available at their respective secondary schools.

N.B: (All non-Seychellois learners moving from secondary school to post-secondary Institution must pay a tuition fee determined by the Ministry of Education.)

Successful applicants are admitted to an approved Year One Program of Study. The Application and Admissions Process is primarily for eligible Secondary 5 Applicants from State Schools and Registered Private Schools locally and Secondary 5 equivalent from overseas.

Applications from Secondary 5 Equivalent outside of Seychelles

Applications from eligible secondary 5 equivalent institutions from overseas are also considered and must apply through the Ministry of Education.

Admissions of Mature learners (Full –time)

Mature candidate must apply in using the prescribed application form as shown in Appendix 01 and submit to the Ministry of Education. Eligible Mature Applicants are considered for available places on Year One Programs of Study ‘unfilled’ by eligible secondary 5 applicants. Eligible mature applicants are considered for limited number of slots (5 persons) on each Year One Programs of Study depending on the available space per institution.

Stand Alone courses

The Seychelles Institute of Agriculture and Horticulture offers applicants the option to enroll in individual courses from its accredited programs. Individuals who wish to enroll in stand-alone classes should submit their applications directly to the Seychelles Institute of Agriculture and Horticulture. Applicants should adhere to the application fee guidelines specified within the application form.
